In news that probably surprises no one, Audi of America recently announced that five of its vehicles were awarded 2017 Top Safety Pick awards from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). In addition to earning the highest rating of "good" for all five crashworthiness assessments, each Audi model offers an advanced forward crash prevention system that earned a "superior" rating.

The following models earned Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ Designations for 2017...

The Audi R8 was recently crowned 2016 World Performance Car at the 2016 New York International Auto Show. This award marks the third time the R8 has garnered this particular distinction, and the fourth time it has been recognized by the World Car Awards.
