Serving Brentwood, TN

There are many reasons why drivers choose Audi vehicles over others when looking for comfort, luxury, safety, and performance. Stylish looks, incredible technology, and hi-fidelity audio are all reasons why Audi truly delivers, and the A6 is a perfect example of this. There are some significant refinements in the 2019 A6 compared to the 2018 A6, so without further ado, let’s dive into what separates the 2018 from the 2019 A6 model!

When it comes to performance, there are some definite improvements over the 2018 A6 model. What once was an optionable 3.0 supercharged V6 engine with 340 horsepower, 325 pound-feet of torque and 20 mpg city / 29 mpg highway engine (compared to a baseline 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four with just 273 pound-feet of torque, 252 horsepower, and 25 mpg city / 34 mpg highway) is now a standard feature in the 2019 A6. The new A6 engine achieves a slightly higher 22 mpg city compared to last year’s 20 mpg city option. On top of this, the 2019 model is now a hybrid system which has 48 volts to help generate extra torque and fuel economy. Long story short, Quattro is standard on all 2019 models.

What was once a stern but friendly sight to behold in the 2018 A6 has now become a sleek, edgier and crisper version of itself? A full front billet grill, more subtle hood lines, more extensive front fog light accents and narrower exhaust tips are some of the exterior changes in the 2019 A6. The interior of the 2019 A6 also has some significant differences from the 2018 model. The 2018 model carried the iconic circular steering wheel center and is now replaced by a more modern, geometric (trapezoidal-shaped) center with more robust steering wheel controls, 10 and two grip indentions and chrome accents throughout. The once a friendly joystick-looking gear shifter in the 2018 A6 has now become a much more fashionable and geometric-shaped square gear shifter which sits on a bed of wood grain, next to a few cup holders. Woodgrain and chrome are present throughout the 2019 A6, making it much more elusive looking than the 2018 by a long shot. Seamless narrow-slit ventilation above the touch-screen makes for a more natural-looking feel in the 2019 model.

The 2018 Audi A6 featured a robust selection of technology features, and for the 2019 A6, these have carried over and even been joined by some new features too. Popular features for both models include adaptive cruise control, a full-view parking assist camera, and pre-sense safety sensors that help prevent accidents by alerting the driver of imminent danger. New features for 2019 include a heads-up display navigation, cooled front seats, and wireless phone charging.

There are some considerable differences in the 2018 and 2019 A6. For someone who hasn't yet seen the 2019 A6 in person, they might think that they're looking at an entirely different model altogether.
