2020 Audi A3 vs 2020 Audi S3
Serving Brentwood, TN
At Audi Nashville, we strive to get each of our valued customers into a new car that delivers pure excitement behind the wheel while also meeting individual needs for equipment, performance, space, and more. The 2020 Audi A3 and the S3 are both subcompact executive cars that are placed next to each other in the new model lineup. However, the base MSRP of the S3 is approximately $10,000 higher than the base price for the A3. With this in mind, you should learn about their unique qualities to determine which vehicle delivers the value that you are looking for in your next luxury car.
Performance
Performance is an area where the A3 and S3 stand far apart. The 2020 A3 is loaded with a TFSI turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that offers acceleration up to cruising speed in 6.6 seconds while delivering 184 horsepower. You can step up the Quattro all-wheel-drive version to boost up to 228 horsepower with acceleration cut down to 5.4 seconds. If you decide that the 2020 Audi S3 is right for you, you can take advantage of a TFSI 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine with 228 horsepower. It offers a faster rate of acceleration and will get you up to 60 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds.
Appearance
Throughout the exterior, the designs of the A3 and S3 for 2020 are comparable. While there are subtle differences in the grille design, headlights, and contouring, you may need to see these two vehicles next to each other at Audi Nashville to fully appreciate their differences. Both of these vehicles have a signature Audi-style grille that covers most of the front end, but the grille finishes are different. The LED headlights have a geometric style that is similar to both vehicles. Below the headlights, the finish embedded in the air vent design corresponds with the finish in the grille. The profile of the S3 features a slightly longer slant across the rear window, which changes the flow over the trunk lid.
Features
In the higher-end S3, you can find exceptional technologies and elegant finishes throughout the vehicle. Many of these features are also available in the A3, and we can tell you about all of the trim-specific features that are standard and optional across both versions when you connect with our sales associates. They may come with a virtual cockpit, an advanced navigation system, leather seating with heated front seats, memory functions, a power sunroof, MMI touch, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, wireless Internet connectivity, remote entry, assistive safety technologies and more.
