What's New for the 2019 Audi A8?

The 2019 Audi A8 is the world's most technologically advanced car. Audi has announced it plans to release the plug-in hybrid model of the 2019 A8 in the United States in early 2019. The vehicle has an inductive-charging capability and a combined 449 horsepower.

A single-turbo 3.0-liter, 335 horsepower V-6 engine that produces 369 pound-feet of torque will be standard with the 2019 Audi A8 when its launched. Audi will add a twin-turbo 4.0-liter 460 horsepower V-8 engine a few months later. Both engines will get hybrid assistance from a 48-volt electrical system that improves fuel economy and work in tandem with a paddle-shiftable eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF. All models of the 2019 Audi A8 have Quattro all-wheel drive as part of their standard equipment. There is an A8 with a W-12 engine, but it might not be sold in the United States.
